For now, check the photos page for info on where to see the great pics folks have sent us.
Looks like there is a bicycle race going on that has part of 54 shutdown to one lane. There is also some sort of running race going on on campus near the planetarium. It looks like both are already winding down, but it wouldn’t hurt to leave a few extra minutes early on the way over to the planetarium.
Got pictures of the wedding? Send them to ginaandadrian@yogile.com.
You can see them at http://www.yogile.com/ginaandadrian.
We have set up a led sign in the reception hall so people can share messages with us
If you use twitter just send a tweet with “@ginaandadrian” in it
during the reception and it will get sent to the sign.
Good news! And more good news!
The good news: the entire lot in front of the Morehead Planetarium is reserved for the wedding Sunday — so you should have no trouble finding a parking place. There will be an attendant out front, so just tell him/her you’re with us and all will be well.
And more good news: there will be shuttles running from the Sheraton Chapel Hill before and after the wedding in case you don’t want to drive. See the updated Schedule page for shuttle times as well as other (improved! new! better!) info.

As you may have seen on Facebook, Adrian and I had the chance to meet Adam and Jamie of Mythbuster‘s fame last weekend when then came to UNC-CH to do a talk. It was a pretty grand experience, as we have been watching Mythbusters since we starting dating (in fact, we watched several episodes on our second date :-)
Given that the talk was sponsored by the Morehead Planetarium and we’re getting married in the Planetarium, which it seems like a thing that they’d think is sorta cool) …and given that I’m *such* an introvert (tee hee), I thought I should invite them to the wedding.
So, when our photo-op came, I told Adam that we were getting married on 10-10-10 in the Planetarium and that we knew that there was no way they could possibly come, but that that we’d love to invite them anyway — and I handed them an invitation.
Look what came in the mail on Friday (lovely birthday present for me too):

We’re counting down the days (eep! 22!) until the wedding. How can it have crept up so quickly!
If, somehow, we managed to forget to send you an RSVP card (which know happened in at least one case — apparently the big envelope popped open and the RSVP card popped out and winged its way back home unescorted), please feel free to drop us a note here to let us know whether you’re coming.
Calming words anyone?
Thanks to friend Phil, we now have the beginnings of a What to Do list for those of you visiting the Triangle area. Yah!
For those of you *from* the Triangle (or, perhaps, just familiar with its pleasures), I’m soliciting suggestions of other fun, interesting, unusual things that folks visiting the area can do. Send suggestions via the Contact Us form!
